WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICIES

1. WARRANTY

The policies to make the guarantee effective vary depending on the type of product purchased by the buyer. However, for all products it is absolutely mandatory to present the purchase or delivery receipt, during the established dates. If no receipt is presented in the application, the guarantee cannot be made.


1.1 – Warranty for AlphaX LLC products labeled as “Neo” or “SMD”.

AlphaECU Limited Lifetime Warranty

Warranty Provider: AlphaX LLC

What is Covered by this Warranty:

This warranty covers defects in design or manufacture of the AlphaECU for the lifetime of the product. Covered defects include:

  • Hardware components: Any malfunction or failure of internal circuit boards, processors, sensors, or other physical components due to faulty materials or assembly.
  • Software functionality: Any deviation from the documented features and specifications of the AlphaECU software, excluding performance issues caused by external factors.
  • Manufacturing defects: Faulty assembly, soldering issues, or incorrect component placement within the ECU unit.

What is Not Covered by this Warranty:

This warranty does not cover:

  • Failures caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, modification, or tampering.
  • Failures caused by accidents, collisions, fire, flood, or other external events.
  • Failures caused by the use of unauthorized parts or accessories.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Shipping costs.

Diagnosis and Repair:

If the AlphaECU fails to function properly, you must return it to AlphaX LLC for diagnosis. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the AlphaECU to us. If our technicians determine that the failure was caused by a defect in design or manufacture, we will repair or replace the AlphaECU at our option, free of charge. However, if our technicians determine that the failure was caused by improper installation, you will be responsible for a diagnosis fee and any applicable repair charges.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

To make a warranty claim, please contact AlphaX LLC at 787-470-4633 or support@alphaxpr.com. You will be required to provide a copy of your original purchase receipt and a description of the problem you are experiencing.

Disclaimer:

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. AlphaX LLC shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of or related to the AlphaECU, even if AlphaX LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Governing Law:

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Puerto Rico.

AlphaX LLC reserves the right to amend this warranty at any time without prior notice.


1.2 – Warranty of AlphaX LLC products labeled as “Learner” or “THT”.

  • The guarantee of this type of products lies only in the complete and correct delivery of the products, not for damages in their manufacture, since they are products that the buyer builds and assembles on his own. In other words, once the product is delivered to the buyer, the buyer will be liable for any damage that may occur to the product.
  • Assistance regarding the handling of the product is limited to that provided by the instruction manuals delivered with it.
  • However, AlphaX LLC offers, through the means included in the receipt, limited support of 15 business days after the product is delivered to the buyer.

1.3 – Warranty of AlphaX LLC products without labeling.

  • The guarantee of these products is limited exclusively to the complete and correct delivery of the same.
  • Once the product is delivered to the buyer, the buyer will be liable for any damage that may occur to the product.
  • However, AlphaX LLC offers, through the means included in the receipt, limited support of 15 business days after the product is delivered to the buyer.

1.4 – Warranty for products NOT manufactured by AlphaX LLC.

  • The guarantee of these products, like those mentioned in point (1.3) is limited exclusively to the complete and correct delivery of the same.
  • Once the product is delivered to the buyer, the buyer will be liable for any damage that may occur to the product.
  • However AlphaX LLC offers, through the means included in the receipt, limited support of 15 business days after the product is delivered to the buyer.
  • If these products are found to have a manufacturing defect, the claim request is made to the respective manufacturer.

2. SPECIAL SITUATIONS

In the cases mentioned in numerals 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 where AlphaX LLC is exclusively responsible for the complete and correct delivery of the products, it is clarified that if the product is sent through a freight transport company and suffers damage, it is the responsibility of said company. AlphaX LLC is committed to shipping the exact products requested, complete, in excellent condition, and fully functional.


3. REFUNDS OR MONEY RETURN

Returns are only accepted within the first 14 days after receipt of the item as indicated by the shipper or deliverer. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee if no labels are broken. No returns are accepted after the 14-day period has passed or if the seal has been broken.

ECUs sent in for warranty claims are not refundable unless more than 6 months have passed after the warranty claim and the item was received at the repair center (meaning it was not lost in shipping). Additionally, a suitable replacement from the AlphaX product line was not found.
