1. Cold Start
Engine fully cold (sat overnight). Start recording, then start the engine.
Let it idle naturally for a full 30 seconds.
Do not touch the throttle or accessories.

2. Hot Start
Engine fully warmed up. Shut the engine off for at least 2 minutes.
Start recording, then restart the engine.
Allow it to idle for 30 seconds with no throttle input.

3. Cold Idle
Engine cold. Start recording immediately after engine start.
Let the engine idle undisturbed for 30 seconds.
No throttle, no AC, no loads.

4. Hot Idle
Engine fully warmed up. Start recording.
Idle for 15 seconds with AC OFF, then turn AC ON and
continue idling for another 15 seconds.

5. Steady-State Cruising
Cruise at a steady speed between 45–65 mph.
Hold a constant throttle and gear for a full 30 seconds.
Avoid hills, passing, or throttle changes.

6. Transient Throttle
From a steady cruise, smoothly roll into the throttle to
1500 RPM, then 2500 RPM, then 3500 RPM,
allowing the engine to stabilize briefly at each point.
Total log time should be about 30 seconds.

7. Wide Open Throttle (WOT)
⚠️ ONLY PERFORM IF SAFE AND LEGAL
Use 3rd gear (or closest 1:1 gear).
Start recording at ~2500 RPM, then apply full throttle
smoothly to redline.
End the log once complete (approximately 30 seconds total).
